HOW TO GROW MICROGREENS

[caption id="attachment_1401" align="alignnone" width="300"] Fill up the water tray with approx 2/3 water[/caption]   [caption id="attachment_1402" align="alignnone" width="300"] Place the mesh tray on water tray[/caption]   [caption id="attachment_1403" align="alignnone" width="300"] Fill up the water until the water level just covers the bottom of the mesh tray[/caption]   [caption id="attachment_1404" align="alignnone" width="300"] Spread seeds evenly over the mesh tray. For small size seeds, lay a piece of kitchen towel to cover the mesh tray bottom before spreading seeds on it. Reserve sufficient space for seeds to expand and grow. Excessive seeds amount will cause significant rotten sprouts.  The ideal amount is when soaking up seeds just one layer spread over the mesh.[/caption]   [caption id="attachment_1405" align="alignnone" width="300"] (NOTE, do not let seeds immerse into the water. Depending on the species, some seeds start to sprout as short as a few hours, some could take days.[/caption]   [caption id="attachment_1408" align="alignnone" width="300"] Keep away lights from the sprouts, otherwise, sprouts will stop growing long and starts to grow leaves.[/caption]   [caption id="attachment_1409" align="alignnone" width="300"] When sprouts grow to the desired height. If you want the sprouts to turn green, remove the light blockage and the sprouts will start to turn green within hours.[/caption]   [caption id="attachment_1410" align="alignnone" width="300"] For mung bean shots, it is better to keep light away for the full growing cycle to avoid a bitter taste.
